Installing equipment in a rack with square-punched rails? Use Auray Rack Cage Nuts, a 100-pack of steel cage nuts that are compatible with standard 10/32 and 6mm rack screws. The Rack Cage Nuts give you the flexibility to place screw holes anywhere along the rack rails to accommodate a wide variety of rackmountable gear. They can be easily removed and repositioned, and they give you the option of removing and replacing gear with different equipment.

the heads on these are too soft. I have good quality bits and they are the correct depth and thickness but the screw head is easily rounded with a lot of material from the head scraping off.
